Oscar Salazar pinch-hit single in the ninth inning lifted the San Diego Padres over the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 Thursday night in the series rubber match at Petco Park.

The Padres won the game as -155 favorites, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (6) set by sportsbooks.

Yorvit Torrealba also drove in a run for the Padres, and Heath Bell improved to 5-0 with a scoreless ninth inning.

George Sherrill gave up the winning run in relief and was saddled with the Dodgers loss.
